31st Annual Sports Meet 2017
The 31st Annual Sports Meet of Dolphin School was held with all its usual vigour and enthusiasm on 4th Nov, Saturday at Arasaradi Railway grounds. The school aimed at the enrichment of high school experiences of students within the context of educational mission of school. It also aimed at citizenship, sportsmanship, team work, respect, health and welfare of the students, not only during the school years but continuing into the adult hood. The day began with a meliflous prayer song.
Honourable the most popular speaker Dr. Gnana sambandam was the Chief guest accompanied by our school Correspondent R. Kanmani to preside over the function. The chief guest declared the sports meet open. The speeches of the above mentioned dignitaries were inspiring to all.
On this day the grounds took a festive took. A great interest was observed among the students and parents. All of them came in large number to enjoy the sports program. The March past led by the school captains and house captains was followed by oath taking and litting of olympic torch. The KG seasons parade, events by our tiny tots added colours to our entire program. The mass drills depicting our national symbols – Mango, lotus, peacock, hockey stick and ball were simply radiating with vibrant colours. Our school seniors performing on events like relays, races, pyramids, karate, yoga, gymnastics taekwando and silambam were mind blowing.
The mass dances were mersmerising. Our parents enjoyed the events exclusive for them. Finally the prize winners were honoured by our dignitaries.
