Our school celebrated Pongal on 13.01.2017 in the most traditional manner. The celebration started with carrying the “Mulaipaari” by the students which indicates prosperity. Sweet Pongal was prepared by the teachers and students. Cultural events were organized. Traditional artistes added flavor to the celebration by performing “Karagam, Tharai thappattai and Poikkal kudirai dance”. Various stall like sugarcane juice, sugar candy, Paruthipaal, javvumittai, karuppatti mittai, paniyaram and we were enjoyed traditional games with rattinam and glass bangles were setup. Correspondent Mrs. Kanmani mam, teachers and students went on bullock ride. Dolphin school wishes everyone “HAPPY PONGAL”.
